Registering the Magic Remote Control

You must register the Magic Remote Control on your Smart TV when you use it for the first time. To register your Magic Remote Control using the Wheel (OK)button, perform the following steps:

1. On the Magic Remote Control, press the Smart Home ()button to open the home screen of your Smart TV.

2. On the home screen, select Settings.

3. Select OPTION > Pointer to open the pointer settings window.

4. Select the setting you wish to configure:

   • Speed: Sets the movement speed of the pointer.

   • Shape: Selects the shape of the pointer.

   • Size: Sets the size of the pointer.

   • Alignment: Enables or disables the alignment function of the pointer.

The Alignment function repositions the pointer to the center of the screen when you shake the Magic Remote Control.

Have new LG TV with magic remote. Have Onyko Audio system with multiple inputs (Dish and computer) one output LG TV. My question is can I use the LG magic remote as a mouse when my computer (Win 10) is showing on the TV? Simply put Computer -> Audio Receiver -> TV

Also my computer (Intel NUC) has IR. Can I at least use the remote to turn on the computer?

• Hmn this is a tough one lol, lets wait for the community to jump into this while I also spend my time to see if this will work. If your laptop is only doing a screencast, then I dont think it will work.
• Thanks. I figured the answer is no so I purchased an Air mouse for the computer.
• You need a ,pc, compatible intel WiDí for woking with magic remote
  (sorry for my eng.)
